Hi folks,
I've been having a run of bad luck with dogs over the past few years. Red Setter bit someone, and had to be destroyed, GSP just didn't work out. I couldn't decide whether to put telemetry on the GSP or the Harris Hawk, such was his ability to runa nd stay running. I have had a cocker spaniel for the past two years, and he was just starting to come right, but got hit by a car last week. I really don't want any of the above again. I'm strongly thinking of getting a working bred Labrador. Has anyone here used one for falconry? How did you find it? Did it flush ok or was is just more interested in retrieving? Really interested to know. Also, can you recommend any good training DVD's or books?
