ANTI BARK COLLARSI recently bought an anti bark collar ,its the type that gives a little shock i was well happy with it until a dog im keeping here for a mate started howling in the nightime anyway to cut a long story short it doesnt work on him and i dont know what to do anyone got any ideas or experiences.

have been having the same problem this season.
got my weaton cross back of my mate who could
not bear him howling so i took him on myself
bought a barking colar and it was not sensitive enough
for his whining so i then bought a training colar
that works by remote that has helped alot.
is grand at night now but still lets you know
when i come in from work that he is there.
still as you probably know already it can be hard enough
getting the tightness of the colar right.
too loose and it wont work and to tight and it will dig into
his neck which happened me 
might be worth a try to shave a bit of fur of the dogs neck
just where the colar touches the neck.

Thanks for that Macker think i will borrow a training collar of my mate and see how that goes.
