first rabbit

wea hay
hank my 1 year old whippet greyhound, caught his first rabbit last night,
and caught it with style, just like a seasoned dog. turning and sprinting all over the shop
this mutt aint got much in the brains department, well to be honest he is really really thick but talk about fast, fastest dingo i have had.
any way not bad for a dog that has been laid up for 4 weeks with a burst knee(skin was split wide open to about a 3" circle) after chasing a deer(oops)
and ran straight into a metal bar coming straight out of the ground, i was gutted.
any way thats my tale

Metal bars and whippety Dogs, mate. That combination always makes me whince.

When I was a nipper a bloke I knews had a cracking little whipper sort. Poor bloody thing ran straight into a bar, half buried in the long grass. Took it straight through the chest. I've never forgotten that.

Anyway, nice to hear ye own one's performing for ye. Not the canine Einstein are they? I don't know it whippet imbues any more brain than greyhound? Either way, niether's gonna go for mensa, eh?
