Ive also used cheap wax jackets for hunting. the problem with these, are that they arent 100% waterproof, and the hoods on them are crap. As well as this, they arent breathable, and on warm days you get soaked in your on sweat! does anyone know of a good good, thats waterproof and breathable, which wont get caught to easy on barb wire either. Also, one that isnt too warm, so its ok to hunt in spetemnber in it. im looking to spend around 50-60 pound on it?

have you tried charlie keenan in toome sean..he might have what you're after.
it'll be army surplus but he usually has gortex coats for that kind of money.
