Recent snap of the terriers

As the topic says.

I like 'em, mate! Especially the one on the left. Looks a character.

So; Where in hell has everything got to at this time of the year??? All the usual places, round here, are looking unused. It's weird. And I'm not the only one noticing and commenting on it
RIPSTOP

Im hardly seeing much either, rabbits and the odd deer, but i know there is a lot about, It only seems to be the parks around my way that have much activity at the minute.

funny you should say that had a few of the mates back home in the north telling me they had been out running hounds and there is very little about. hopefully in the maize and barley fields.

Ye've never seen South Leitrim then? Maize and Barley??? Round here it's just Juncas (Rush) and grass. Or just Juncas! " Rough, upland pasture ", I believe the local term is for it. In england we'd just call it " Marsh ". Here I call it " bog ". (Small 'b' denoting that I do appreciate there's a difference. Though, in england, marsh and bog are pretty much the same; 'Swampy', wet areas of rank vegetation ~ and Juncas).

E.Mc; " Rats " kills me! She pissed and shitted inside this place so much I had no choice but to put her outside - as she was raised to. But I made her a little house and I'm, frankly, quite proud of it. But not half so as Rats is! She LOVES her little house and it cracks me up how I sometimes have to call her out of there. Her attitude being, " What do You want? I'm perfectly f*cking happy and snug in here. Now ye want me to come out?! "

I never show public pictures of it, because it's a dead give away should someone come to my gate. But PM me a reminder and I'll go out and get a shot of it for ye.  Even my neighbours have commented that it's a hell of a piece of work.

As for Rats herself? She has a nose and a fascination - sadly, most of it concerning shit, from what ever source and form! But she's following le Ding everywhere and sniffing what he sniffs. neither of them particularly caring for badgers, as I'd hoped. But I hope to bring her to some ratty areas, as the winter progresses.

Rest assured and tell ye mate the same; She's one of us now and, 'work out' or not, she's a great little Dog to just have around. Amuses the f*ck out of me - I'm laughing about her as I type this - does no harm and is assured of her good, fresh flesh, dinner every night and a run out and some one on one attention every day. And, of course, she owns one of the classier homes in all Leitrim! Certainly in a lot better state than My place!

Cheers, mate!
