DitchShitter

ROTF! Sorry, mate, but it just struck me; I reckon Pat Burns would have an embolism if he saw Choc there! Know what I'm saying?
digdeep

text talk ditch!
what the hell does ROTF mean mate?
DitchShitter

" Rolling On The Floor (Laughing) ". Nuuurr! So it's not Text Talk, see? It's just like LOL and BRB. Perfectly acceptable on line abbrieviations.

Anyway, I see your game; Ye just trying to disguise the fact that ye don't know what an embolism is!
digdeep

At the risk of sounding even more stupid, who is pat burns and why would choc cause him to have an embolism?

come on ditch the guard is down, swing that right hook
digdeep

well the weather is starting to fair up so took the dogs for a walk, just exercise not working, took a few pics, so i might as well share them

THE BIG LAD

MY NEW BITCH, GOT HER ON FRIDAY

DitchShitter

Sorry, Diggist. Missed ye last ~ like many other things ~ due to passing out last night.

Pat? Runs Terrierman.com and a rather good Blog attatched to it - or TM.C is attatched to the Blog? Anyway, he's a Yank and has been known to put the odd nose out of joint with what he says. But he's not a bad bloke.

He has a bit of a fixation of the 'correct' maximum sort of size for a working terrier though. If it can't be 'spanned', he won't like it.

I wouldn't know about all that stuff myself. But I still reckon the mere sight of Choc Dog there would likely give him a siezure of some sort

That's one tasty looking bitch, by the way! If looks could kill, I reckon she could stop a rats heart from yards away. Trouble is, she looks about the sort to then spot anything else with a pulse and get to work on that too!

I have my ear out for The Impossible Dog; Something guaranteed to rats and stuff, but which won't fly down the nearest hole or at the nearest live stock!

I'm sure many spaded 'jackers' would fit my bill. I just can't risk an iffy one round the local 'stock. So, buying in a pup seems my best chance. But look how That ended up last time I tried that approach!

Thus 'The Impossible Dog'

I have my ear to the ground for this "golden dog", shame because my old dog vinnie would have ticked all the wright box`s in your search, he went to a ferreting family, doing really well too i`m told, anyway if i hear of any the fit the bill i`ll give you a shout mate.

Just an update on the young black bitch, she is out doing her self and has gone past my hopes for her at such a young age!!!
She is flying to ground, loves working field drains, she wants to go now, but i`m holding her back till at least the end of the coming season," steady but ready!"
She never made the size i was hoping for but she is showing the signs of a great foxing bitch to be, standing at 12inch at the most, she has started to fill out nicely now and could become a diggers dream dog
Brains over brawn but not scared to mix it either! LOVELY
fingers crossed she keeps up all the way, great start from her but like we all know terrier work is a funny/tricky game.
DitchShitter

Good to hear the bitch is showing promise, mate

Just in case ye haven't caught it elsewhere on here; I now have a scruffy little thing I call " Rats ". She's a charm and hasn't set a foot wrong so far.

Bit early yet to say if she'll ever come to anything around her intended career but, either way, she's amusing and endearing. I have three 'pet' Dogs here now to feed. This tiny scrap of a thing's quite at home with us and no bother. If she ends up biting vermin for me, what a bonus that'll be!
digdeep

Yes i had a look at the new recruit on (Ian`s) place, she looks like she has settled well and i see she has here own private place already   i`m sure she will turn into what you are wanting, just keep her away from them nasty holes, all the best with her and keep us updated on her....and your progress in the long tail quest, talk soon mate
BOOTS

First class looking CHOC ,my type of terrier DIGDEEP ,
one that doesn,t get bossed about a hole . Once they hit
game thats been dug to before you need a big dog to hold his ground.
nice looking bitch also. good luck for the forthcoming season with her .
digdeep

Thanks Boots
The big dog is a half decent worker, i work a lot of field drains so he is ideal for that situation, holds fast and tight, but the little bitch gets bullied around them, she takes a long time to settle down and hold fast, she goes in over eager too, and takes a bit of stick for her troubles, i`m hoping this will change as she gets more experience, my plans for the two black bitches are to work them in the smaller places where the big dog has to dig on to get his quarry, don`t get me wrong he does get there in the end but if it takes the little dog half the time to get on that`s the best way!
The oldest black bitch has yet to be tested, but she will get a busy season in the coming one, the young one will just be a spectator, maybe get the odd run at the back end of the season.
Good luck to you all in the coming season
Reynard

bitch

Hope she does well for you mate
