Westmeath hunt investigation closed, anti's exploit findings

http://www.athloneadvertiser.ie/index.php?aid=6091

In the above article, a straight-forward report on the controversy surroundng one of the Westmeath's last fox hunts is relayed. In short, a fox was killed by hounds after being dug-out. Nothing unusual there sez you, as long as the land-owner gives his permission to dig out, and the fox is shot there and then, all is well. These are the IMFH's rules and those rules are accepted as good hunting protocol by the Government.

However, after an anti investigator misrepresented statements made by the land owner (that's legalese for telling lies), an investigation found that the fox was killed by some hounds who broke out of the pack, and also that the elected shooter didn't have his gun to hand.
The hunt was suspended until the investigation was complete, and now all is well.

However, this link: http://www.midlandsradio.fm/news_detail.aspx?news_id=5245, shows that the anti's, led by Tony Gregory TD and tacitly supported by the Green party in government are going to try and make hay with this.
Before the Greens slid into power on a track greased with Fianna Fail greed, this matter would have been left handled by those who know best. Now we see the start of the intrusion into our most precious asset, that of the self-regulation of our sports.

Bottom link blows out, mate. Buggered if I know what to make of it all in there. Esoteric speak for a duff link, or something.

Care to try again with that one? Or have they whipped the story off their server altogether?

There was a comma at the send of the link, sorry about that.

Aren't words the most amazing things mate, eh? Those we choose to use. Those we selectively choose to miss out. They can all relate an image. Portray a " Fact " to the reader.

Or they can just work on a more basic level. Like when all we say is " Shit ".

Next time I get a Ballot Card, I'll use it. I'll give them " Shit ".

Thanks for the heads up
