ive been looking into falconry for a few years now and would like to get into it but i have no experience at all
are there any courses in falconry in ireland north or south for beginners
any info much appreciated

i did a google search the other day but it didnt bring up all them sites
mind you im no bill gates when it comes to the pc

as ditch knows
i have contacted the the dublin school of falconry about the courses
they do 3 courses
course 1 is a 5 hour introduction to falconry
cousre 2 is a 2 hour theory lesson once a week for 4 weeks
course 3 is a 4 day intensive course
as i have absolutly no experience with birds of prey, i will enrole in the 3 courses they are not cheap at all, but i think essential
before even contenplating getting a bird

well ditch
got a email the other day from dublin school of falconry saying there fully booked out till dec 08 what a pisser cant wait that long as im well into it now
so back to searching again and came up with this site
www.highlandhawking.co.uk have a look what a location
so going to contact the chap today and hopefully book a 6 day course
and they have a couple of cottages to rent as well for the week
so will take the family to as my eldest son wants to do the course aswell
will let you know how i get on
