The 1st pic is of my hob hes 5 yrs old now and still steaming through the rabbits, the 2cd pic is of old 1 eye,hes 3 yrs old and lost his eye last season from a kick from a bunny
3rd pic is the same ould fella.
4th pic is my 4 year old jill, shes mated last week to the hob in pic 1,shes a tremendous ferret also.Thankfully we do little digging to the ferrets as they are all rather tidy in size and lack the strength to hold a running rabbit. We use field nets mostly and I have just procured a lurcher and will use him in conjuction with the nets.Old 1 eye has been mated to a tiny jill yesterday and these should be great bolting ferrets as the jill is very keen also.

sean the eye is healed and is over 8 months gone,it doesnt bother him at allnow but hes a wee bit nippy as he cant see too well and tends to regard everything as a rabbit, once he knows its your hand hes like a lamb
handled from an early age they will never bite though they can be playfull
i remember selling 2 as pets 1 went to a girl and it was a big ferret she was hugging it the moment she picked it up kept in the house and toilet trained, for pets the bigger the better
i handle mine daily. they go throgh a bit of a vampire stage when they are young but they grow out of it. feeding them from hand makes them very trusing and as the old saying goes, you should never bite the hand that feeds you!
